Why traffic drops — and who actually controls it

Processing has three floors: merchant, desk, trader. When deposits thin out, people almost always blame “the platform”. Reality is duller and more honest.

Where it comes from

A player hits “deposit” at the merchant. The merchant sends an order to the desk. The desk picks a trader rail. Money goes to your UPI. No player — no order. No live rail — the order goes to someone else.

Why volume sits down

  • Merchant conversion sagged: slow confirms, many cancels.
  • Your accounts hit a bank limit — the book skips you.
  • Automation is silent, orders burn on the timer.
  • A high share of appeals.
  • The market: a weekday vs a match, a holiday, late IST.

A manager cannot “add” traffic the merchant does not have. They can stop sending it to a weak profile. That is not revenge — it is book maths. Factor breakdown is here.

What to do

Read your own numbers: how many orders, how many closed on time, how many disputes, what is left on working. Do not hoard INR on the working account — keep the limit free. Warm a second account before the peak, not during it. Write to chat with facts, not “give the volume back”.

Atlas Pay is a desk, not an aggregator of other people's offers. We hold Game / Bet and cut flow where it breaks. 4% is not a subscription to an endless book.
